Hi, Can anybody let me know how to integrate DOORS DWA with RPE. We need to have a centralised RPE server , where from DWA we need to generate the report. I have searched few documents in which there is a way proposed, that we need to take the URL for each and every module and give the details in the RPE launcher. This is not the way i want , please let me know if we can configure some thing within the tool. therefore directly we can generate the documents just clicking the addon (This is like not to install the RPE launcher on all the client machine ) and the entire configuration should be pointed to one central server. doors@36677 - Fri Oct 07 09:01:47 EDT 2016 |
Re: RPE-DOORS integration For the most part doors works well for what it was designed for -- but is usual for people to start thinking outside the box and they create problems for themselves that they waste time and effort on. |
Re: RPE-DOORS integration Hello, RPE dev team has this blog for in depth RPE usages. https://rpeactual.com/2015/01/08/document-generation-from-doors-web-access/ Unfortunately I guess what you are currently doing is the only way. I don't think DWA can hold DOORS scheme data or send/retrieve report data.
